ChastiKey Chat / Two more ideas
« on: October 21, 2020, 01:58:33 PM »
My first idea is to give the keyholder the ability to set a secret fixed lock at the end of a variable lock (if the keyholder is trusted). Imagine finally finding that last green card and getting the message that the lock has been switched to a fixed lock with the timer hidden. This has the practical value also of allowing the keyholder to give themselves a warning that the lockee is about to escape in if the keyholder wants to be the one who personally unlocks the lockee.

My second idea is cascading locks where you could set up several locks in a row that would be ttriggered sequentially. Once the lockee gets down to one green, the lock would automatically go to the next lock in the chain.

ChastiKey Chat / Yet another feature idea
« on: October 09, 2020, 10:26:48 PM »
I was thinking that the checkin feature could be tied to an option for preset penalties set up when creating the lock. For instance, if a checkin is missed two freeze cards are added and the lockee would get the message  that the cards were added for missing checkin. That way the keyholder does not have to keep track of checkins.

ChastiKey Chat / Red Card minimum time question
« on: August 21, 2020, 07:10:45 PM »
I know if you start a variable lock with a range of red cards it sets a minimum time based upon the lower number. For instance, if you have daily draws and set the number of red cards between 10 and 11, the lock will last for at least 10 days. How does that work? Does the lockee automatically draw 10 red cards first before cards are selected randomly? If that is true, what happens if the keyholder adds a red card? Does it not count toward the minimum time? What if a red card is removed? Is the minimum time now nine days? What if the cards are reset, is the minimum time reset? Thank you in advance for any answers.
