Non-cumulative is pretty harsh, but I suspect it is designed to keep you constantly thinking about it.  It's also a risk with me going to work in a steel mill today and not being sure how much I'll be able to stay on top of it.

Either way, it's a short enough lock that as to be worth the risk, and I'm going to go ahead and load it up now.

Hope no one minds, but I felt this could use another bump.

If you're like me then you have fallen in love with both the Chastikey app, and the community that uses it.  That said, I do hope we have some differences as well.

The key difference I'm hoping for is in our ability to demonstrate our gratitude in a tangible and monetary way.  I can't easily do so, but I can help guide others towards that goal.

To that end I give you the gratitude lock.  It is a brutal and unforgiving lock that while theoretically possible to be out in 2 days, will more likely run several years if left alone.

It will run several years that is, unless you purchase an emergency key...

Have you wanted to donate money, but not found the motivation to buy google play money?  What better motivation is there than this.  Has it felt like purchasing a key was giving up?  Now you're giving in.

All lockees who buy their way out will be given a five star rating (unless they cried and begged first, you should know the deal).

Best of all, you'll be donating to the future of this community and app, so lock up now.

The biggest thing I look for is actually time zone...if I'm asleep the entire time my KH is awake, I might as well use a bot.

To be honest, I've not asked about the sexuality of any of the Key Holders.  I can think of at least one Male Key Holder who has takes Male lockees, but he has stated being attracted to the power of control more than the gender.

I guess my question is how important is the Key Holders sexual orientation to you?

I'm not saying that you shouldn't look for what you really want, but the more specific that is, the longer it will take to find.

To whoever loaded this lock...please use a non-generic name so that I know who I'm interacting with.

The same goes for everyone else who wants to load this.

I have my first lockee, I guess I'm actually a Key Holder now...

What I have learned in the last 20 hours is that the lock, and my playing with it, work as anticipated.  I should have called it the too long, didn't read lock because it really is a 2 day lock if you read the full description and keep the clues in mind.  If you don't, it could go literally forever.

TL;DR this is a simple 2 day lock 😈

A+ for creativity, this is quite different and fun.

I think I'm too wimpy to try it, but I really appreciate the creativity.

Thank you, the concept started mostly because I wanted a lock where people were happy to get frozen rather than. Complain about it.

As for not being brave enough, that's fine, it a not for everyone.  That said, it was built to scale down to as little as about 2 day.  As long as the lockee was careful not to pull cards while I'm asleep.

Anyone interested in this lock should DM me about it with how long a lock you were looking for and how merciless you wanted me to be in running it.  This lock was designed to be extremely variable and I will do my best to match your desires.

I am much more active on Discord, and that is how you are likely to know whether I am awake and monitoring the lock, or if you are in the hands of the Oggie Bogie boys and should probably wait to draw cards.

My first ever date (sort of) was to the movie The Nightmare before Christmas, and while things never worked out with the girl in question, to this day it is still my favorite holiday movie of all time, for any holiday.  This lock is inspired by that movie, but is most definitely not a Locktober lock.

It's been 25 years since Christmas was almost ruined by Jack Skelington, and he and Kringle get along fine now.  In fact, since that year, Santa costumes have appeared scattered around every single Halloween.  While they may be friends, and Kringle lets Jack help with presents for all the little goth children, Jack will never quite be able to stand in and run Christmas, and everyone knows it.  Everyone that is save that villainous bag of serpents, Mr. Oggie Boogie,

Mr. Oggie Boogie has given up on dreams of both replacing the Sandy Claws and taking over Christmas, but he just might be able to take over his rightful place on top of Halloween.

Mr. Oggie Boogie has captured and locked up your source of joy, and is keeping him away from overseeing Christmas prep.  Jack isn't ready, but someone has to do it, that is, unless Kringle can break free.

In this lock, I will be playing the part of Mr. Oggie Boogie.  Whenever I am awake that is, and while evil, I also don't have full understanding of your powers.  When I have to sleep, I will be handing guard duty over to the Oggie Boogie Boys, the three mischievous scamps who love trouble and pranks.

As the king of all winter, your main power is control of frost.  If your captors allow you to get frozen (many in the deck), you can use this to erode your bonds and maybe get free all the sooner.  Mr. Oggie Boogie might bitch and moan, but the snakes in his heart are cold blooded, and can't stick around to fight the cold.

Be warned however that while The Boggie boys guard you, tricks abound around every corner.  They like resets and double ups, and almost every one of their yellow traps will be designed to let them torment you longer.  What's worse, they are just kids, and you couldn't bring yourself to use your frost powers when they might get hurt.  Your best bet is to bide your time and let your power build until it can be used on the true villain.

Get free and let Jack keep Halloween fun and light, not to mention finishing up the work that needs to be done before Christmas.  If not, well maybe you can still be out in time to save your own holiday...maybe.

I'm not going to lie, the complete lack of card information has me worried it's a year long lock...

I'm sure you'll find people willing to take that chance, and maybe I'll be one of them some day, but my two day lock is still pushing my limits.

Good luck, and welcome.

BUT to be fair to the KH "testing", it does have emergency keys allowed so you could get out at anytime so your ultimate fears SEEM unfounded  but I take your point

I never said I was afraid, just nervous.  And being nervous is part of the experience.

I need time to recover still and have already promised Key Holders what my next two locks will be, but after that this one will be seriously considered.

Hello Diana, welcome to Chastikey...

As I've been trying multiple Key Holders to see who might fit, I may well try you as well in the near future.  I am a long ways from ready for this lock though.

With the yellows, the doubles, and the resets, this can be a 20-30 day lock.  If that was your intention, you will likely have eventual takers, just wanted to make sure you realized what you were creating.

I might suggest that you put some sort of description of the lock when you post it, the cards that are in it is one way of doing it, or you could say:

"2-20 day lock, hourly cumulative. How lucky are you feeling"

Anyhow, my advice is worth what it cost, and I hope you have a lot of fun here.

Do not be nice please.
Mmmm, did you read that it is 23-96 days? ...

P.S. Miss Katie is never a Nice Key Holder (tm)  :-X

Made me look. It says hours.....hope it stays that way :o

He's referring to other quotes elsewhere in this thread pointing out that it can run a fair bit longer.

You've got up to 96 red's.

Yellow cards can take away reds or add them, absolute worst case scenario, 96 yellow could all be +3 red each, being 288 more, for a total of 384 red's.

3 double ups can bring that total to 1,152 red's, there is a reset...

Even if Miss Katie doesn't change a thing, it could go, at least in theory. 2,304 hours, which yes, is 96 days.

To get that though, you'd have to have perfectly bad luck.  The odds would be like being eaten by a shark that is getting struck by lighting while holding a winning lottery ticket in your hand.a

Just explain your limits or any health issues, be respectful, and I'm sure you'll do just fine.  She will probably push your limits, but she won't actually hurt you.  At least not in any permanent way.

Just my two bits, you should probably bring your concerns up directly with Miss Katie though.
