On both a solo lock (one with no keyholder) and a keyholder lock have the 50/50 option at the end of it.
On a keyholder controlled lock you can pass the decision back at the end of the lock for the keyholder decide and they will have a few hours to respond. If they don't respond the decision goes back to you. You can pass it back as many times until one of you restarts or unlocks it.

A keyholder freeze stops you from picking cards, or freezes the time from counting down on fixed locks. The bots do unfreeze you after a period of time. Typically 1 to 8 times the lock draw time on a variable lock, and 1 to 8 hours on a fixed lock.

If your partner has her own device then she can install ChastiKey and create locks for you that she controls remotely. She would create a shared lock and you would scan/load it on your device. Once you've started it she can control it from her device and add time or cards. The app already has this feature
