ChastiKey Chat / Re: Bug in shared chance at side of keyholder.
« on: November 06, 2017, 07:50:52 AM »
Can you PM me your user id please so that I can find the locks in the database or click the Feedback button in the app which will open an email to me.

From what I understand any changes she's making to your locks is being reflected on your side (no problems there) but they're not showing as changed on her side. Is that correct?

I won't need your keyholders user id as I can find that easily enough once I have yours.

Good news. Push notifications will be available in the next version which will be released as a beta version first and released either later today or within the next day or two.

With push notifications you will receive instant notifications when someone has modified your lock and I think I've set it to notify you when someone has loaded your lock. I need to check that last one later.

Thanks for the feedback.

I don't know for certain but I'm thinking at least 2 different personalities and both genders for each personality type so maybe 4 bots to start with.

Faces could be added to the profile screen if they each had their own profile. So yeah possibly.

ChastiKey Chat / Would you be interested in bots controlling your locks?
« on: October 31, 2017, 01:45:07 PM »
Just toying with an idea at the moment. An idea that's probably more suitable to those that use ChastiKey on their own, i.e. those that create and use their own locks.

How interested would you be if there was a small selection of bots to choose from, each with their own basic personality that would create a lock for you (less options available to you than the current options) and might at times increase/decrease the duration depending on their kindness/meanness level. For example if you pick a kind one and say you want a lock that lasts about a week at most, you will get a lock that lasts about a week. If however you pick a truly mean bot and ask for one that lasts about a week, they're probably going to ignore your request (they're mean and in control obviously) and give you one that lasts 3 weeks instead, and they will probably change it throughout the duration leaving you with no idea as to when you get to unlock.

Of course there will need to be restrictions and limitations put in place as to what locks they choose and how often they change them, I can't have them turning a one week lock into a 100 day lock as that's just crap and nobody wants that. But turning a week lock into one that lasts a 3 weeks or a month probably isn't that bad (you did pick the mean bot afterall). They will also apply to the same restrictions real keyholders have using the app which is they can only add so many days/cards to your lock each day. So they won't be able to add 20 days/cards each hour. They might not get around to changing your lock at all, what with them being busy looking after other peoples locks too.

Let me know your thoughts? Who would use them?

Thanks

Kevin

Thanks for the feedback. Glad it's all going well at the moment for you. I'm always open to suggestions if there's something that can be done to make it better for you, your girlfriend and other users. I've seen your posts, and it's good to see people getting involved in the forum and sharing locks, so thank you.

As for the iOS version, I aim to start developing and testing it on an iOS device early next year. I would start sooner but I've got a holiday coming up before Christmas and Christmas itself just around the corner so holding off buying a device and license until after then. Hopefully Apple won't reject it because of the nature of the app.

ChastiKey Chat / How's your experience with solo play locks so far?
« on: October 29, 2017, 03:39:04 PM »
For those of you that create locks for yourselves how are you finding the experience so far? Are you finding it easier to remain in chastity for the length of times you desire? Easier than before you used the app?

How do you find the card system? While it may never be as good as a real keyholder do you like the randomness and the delays between each chance to find the green card? Does it do well at creating the feeling of not knowing when you can unlock and that the duration could be increased/decreased like a real keyholder making the decision as to when you can unlock?

I created the app initially for myself for solo play as there just didn't seem to be anything in the app stores that did this and I never found the right person that enjoyed holding my keys so I had some ideas as to what was needed. I'm hoping I was close enough but I'm sure there's more than can be done to improve the experience as we're all different.

The concept was based on a forum post I saw a couple of years back where a couple was using beads in a bag and depending on the colour bead the husband pulled out of the bag the duration would be either increased/decreased or he would be unlocked. This is why version one of ChastiKey had an image of a jar that you tapped which would randomly show a counter. The problem with that was that you couldn't pick a counter like you would if you're hands in a bag rummaging around for one which is why the card system was introduced. Now you can pick the card to reveal rather than having the app pick one for you.

How has your experience been so far using shared locks? I'm interested in hearing from both sides. Those that keyhold and those that lock their keys away using the shared locks?

Are you using it with people you know i.e. a partner or someone you're in contact with online? Or are you sharing and loading locks anonymously and therefore there's no communication between the two of you? If the latter, how's that experience? Are you happy with it all at the moment? Or is it missing something (aside from chat/private messaging within the app)

ChastiKey Chat / Re: select yellow cards
« on: October 27, 2017, 05:05:59 PM »
Yep the yellow cards are -2, -1, +1, +2, +3

It's easy enough to add the choice of yellow cards, however I didn't add it in because of the lack of space on the screen against each user. I'll have a think to see how each row could be laid out differently to allow for some extra options.

Sorry, just noticed a setting on the forum that was stopping guests from seeing attachments so anyone seeing this post wouldn't have seen your lock QR code to be able to scan it. Not unless they registered. Guests should be able to see it now.

Thanks

Kevin

Your user id is what ties you to your locks data backed up online. It's 20 characters long (23 with hyphens) and can be found on the screen where you create new locks. It's not the same as your username which can be shared if you wish. There's no reason to give this user id out to anyone and there's no reason for anyone to ask you for yours. With your user id another user is able to restore your locks to their device.

I may however ask you privately for your user id if you've contacted me with regards to a problem you're experiencing with your lock(s). This is so that I can find the relevant lock(s) in the database and investigate the problem.

If you've not done it already please write down or take a screenshot of your user id and keep it safe incase you have a problem with your device/install and need to install ChastiKey again or get a new device.

I'm not able to give you your user id if you've forgotten it, even if you remember your username.
