Re: 1-30 day fixed lock is it possible to get a verification picture of you to prove you are real? just a plain image(no face needed) with with a piece of paper that says the date/time and your username.

Re: Version 2.3.4 Work In Progress I plan to release another version for beta over the weekend at some point. I will stop tinkering with it soon.

Here's what's new:

  • Some slight improvements to splash-screen loading. It could almost definitely be improved more but I'm going to need more time to tidy up things which I'll do at a later date. You can also improve it yourselves a little by removing any old shared locks that you're certain you're never going to use again.
  • When you set your status to sleeping it will temporarily disable all notifications. They will turn back on once you change your status to available or busy. If you've turned off notifications in the settings then they will already be disabled and won't turn on once you change the status.
  • Opt-out button on the settings page. Opt-in or out to allowing permission to display your username in any top 10 lists that I would like to create and auto-populate. I haven't developed the pages for the lists yet, but this button is in preparation for it. This isn't connected to your ticker. Saying no at this option won't stop your ticker from working.
  • Keyholders can add and remove cards quickly by holding down the plus and minus buttons. I know seems like an obvious thing to do but before the new layout that wasn't as easy to do. Fixed locks you still have to tap away for now but it's unlikely you're ever going to want to add that many days/hours at once anyway
  • Keyholders can remove more the the previous limit of 3 yellows, and 7 reds when they weren't trusted. There's now no limitations to how many cards can be removed at once. There is still limits in place for adding cards if not trusted.
  • Average ratings in the app are now based on 5 or more ratings and not 10.

Something else I'd like to do this weekend if I get time is to add an option for the keyholder to hide the card stats on the lock from the user. When hidden any updates made will be shown as "<Keyholders username> added 5 cards". It won't show 3 reds and 2 yellows.

The user won't be able to see how many of each cards are in the deck or the percentages. The hide/view information can be toggled by the keyholder like they can with hiding timers on fixed locks.

All locks when scanned will show the general information about the lock and the cards included etc. I don't think I ever want to hide that. But once started the information can be hidden if wanted.

I'll make a copy of the version I have now and if I find the above change takes too long I'll put it on hold and will release what I have so far without this new option.

Re: Version 2.3.4 Work In Progress I've uploaded a new beta version to the Play Store now so should hopefully be available within the next hour or two.

Please let me know if you find any problems. If there's no major problems reported over the next couple of days I'll make it live for everyone.

You can sign up to download the beta version via this link:

Congratulations to MissKatie Thought I'd take a moment to congratulate @Miss Katie  for having 75 users locked at once! And being second in the top 10 table for popular keyholders, only 1 or 2 ratings away from being at the top. That's quite a large number, one that would be quite hard to top

Thank you for the time and effort you put in to managing your locks, keeping a lot of users locked and happy.

Re: Version 2.4.0 Work In Progress I wanted to provide a full list of what's coming in the next version, which isn't far off now from being available for testing

  • Large decks are split across multiple screens, which improves the speed problems you currently experience.
  • Keyholders can hide lock info shown when you scan QR codes.
  • QR codes now show the lock information, including the lock name given by the keyholder.
  • Keyholders and lockees can filter locks in their list of locks.
  • Coloured flags can be added to locks and users which can then be filtered on.
  • Keyholders can create shared locks and choose how many of each yellow type the lock starts with. The options are random yellows, yellows that add reds or yellows that minus reds. They can't say how many +2's and how many +3's they want as that seemed like too many options.
  • When a lock has finished you let the keyholder decide if it resets or unlocks. If they don't respond in time you get to choose again. This can be repeated as often as needed/wanted.
  • Shared locks can be created with trust keyholder set as true by default. The lockee doesn't get the option, other than not loading the lock at all.
  • You can choose fixed locks to have timer hidden when setting up a lock with a bot.
  • Keyholders can freeze variable locks for as long as they wish.
  • Keyholders can create shared locks and choose the maximum number of users they want to manage on that lock. They can also create a lock that has unlimited number of slots like the current version.
  • More time intervals for variable locks: 15M, 30M, 1H, 3H, 6H, 12H, and 24H.
  • Freeze cards. When revealed they freeze the lock for a random duration between 2 and 4 times the lock interval so for an hourly lock it will be frozen between 2 to 4 hours. The time is hidden. The keyholder can unfreeze it their side if they want to.
  • Alphanumeric combinations. You can choose numeric combinations only, letters only or a mix of the two.
  • Keyholders can rate users on completed and abandoned locks. They can also sort users on rating in ascending/descending order.
  • You can set your status as invisible. This means you can open the app and you won't show up as recently being online to users you interact with.
  • You can choose to have some of the combinations read out to you when they flash on the screen. It may help a little more with forgetting your combination if it's a short one.
  • Added discord chat to the menu. Hopefully that will bring in more users to Discord.
  • Added a message at the beginning asking you to save/screenshot your user id. This will appear each time the app starts until you choose for it to not be shown again.

There was so much more that I wanted to get in but will have to wait for a future version.

I've tested having locks running in the current version and updating to the new version. The locks carry forward without any problems. I've got a real lock running on my device.

As mentioned in my last post I'm going to test it as much as I can and try and make some more visual changes, especially with some of the cards.
