I took a second look at my settings and found I had "Allow duplicate characters in the combination"... turned off.  ::)

I could have sworn the number of digits in the combination was previously maxed out at 12 digits/characters. It's now just 10. Is there any possibility it can be set back to 12?

As a newbie keyholder, I would recommend playing around with combinations of the various cards and settings in test locks to get a feel for how the cards interact and to get a feel for how probabilities and odds work in practice.

 In my experience, the Sticky cards are the most difficult to reliably predict the length of time the lock will run. With Sticky cards, what may initially appear to be very reasonably odds of escape can occasionally turn into a unexpectedly long lock.

The Reset cards in your lock are non-functional as they don't reset Freeze cards, and you only have one Green card - so it wouldn't be of any consequence there either.

If you wanted to make the Reset card(s) functional, you'd need to add a batch of (I'd recommend 20ish.) Green cards. I'd suggest keeping the Freeze cards, adding maybe a 2-5 Reset cards, and adding 20 Green cards.

You may want to try using a lock-out hasp and spreading a 12 digit combination across multiple locks.

Personally, I use a Master Lock Word lock and I use a chart to convert the numbers from the app to the letters my lock uses.

I stumbled across this on Etsy. This expensive as it ships from Spain. ($52 + $75 Shipping to U.S. = $128)

This just may be the solution for those having difficulty forgetting combinations as it can be ordered with the 12 characters that the Chastikey app can provide. The combination is changeable.

There are other (cheaper) versions available that use numbers instead of letters and fewer (up to 7) wheels. ($25 with shipping.)

I was thinking an increased card cap could be tied to the trusted keyholder option and/or it could be it's own separate option? The increase could also be tied to having both the trusted keyholder and cumulative options selected?

I'd suggest upping the red and yellow cards each to 800 or 900 for the number of cards that can be in play. The increased card counts would reduce the blunting of double up cards, allow for longer locks for intermediate to advanced users and increase the jeopardy and mind fuck factor capability for keyholders.

The initial settings caps are fine in my opinion.

No, there is currently no way to "pair" the app with your safe.

After loading a lock shared from your keyholder, you'll have to reset the combination on your safe to the combination provided by the app.
