Request / Share / Exchange ChastiKey Locks / Gratitude lock
« on: October 05, 2018, 12:13:52 AM »
If you're like me then you have fallen in love with both the Chastikey app, and the community that uses it.  That said, I do hope we have some differences as well.

The key difference I'm hoping for is in our ability to demonstrate our gratitude in a tangible and monetary way.  I can't easily do so, but I can help guide others towards that goal.

To that end I give you the gratitude lock.  It is a brutal and unforgiving lock that while theoretically possible to be out in 2 days, will more likely run several years if left alone.

It will run several years that is, unless you purchase an emergency key...

Have you wanted to donate money, but not found the motivation to buy google play money?  What better motivation is there than this.  Has it felt like purchasing a key was giving up?  Now you're giving in.

All lockees who buy their way out will be given a five star rating (unless they cried and begged first, you should know the deal).

Best of all, you'll be donating to the future of this community and app, so lock up now.

Request / Share / Exchange ChastiKey Locks / This is Halloween

My first ever date (sort of) was to the movie The Nightmare before Christmas, and while things never worked out with the girl in question, to this day it is still my favorite holiday movie of all time, for any holiday.  This lock is inspired by that movie, but is most definitely not a Locktober lock.

It's been 25 years since Christmas was almost ruined by Jack Skelington, and he and Kringle get along fine now.  In fact, since that year, Santa costumes have appeared scattered around every single Halloween.  While they may be friends, and Kringle lets Jack help with presents for all the little goth children, Jack will never quite be able to stand in and run Christmas, and everyone knows it.  Everyone that is save that villainous bag of serpents, Mr. Oggie Boogie,

Mr. Oggie Boogie has given up on dreams of both replacing the Sandy Claws and taking over Christmas, but he just might be able to take over his rightful place on top of Halloween.

Mr. Oggie Boogie has captured and locked up your source of joy, and is keeping him away from overseeing Christmas prep.  Jack isn't ready, but someone has to do it, that is, unless Kringle can break free.

In this lock, I will be playing the part of Mr. Oggie Boogie.  Whenever I am awake that is, and while evil, I also don't have full understanding of your powers.  When I have to sleep, I will be handing guard duty over to the Oggie Boogie Boys, the three mischievous scamps who love trouble and pranks.

As the king of all winter, your main power is control of frost.  If your captors allow you to get frozen (many in the deck), you can use this to erode your bonds and maybe get free all the sooner.  Mr. Oggie Boogie might bitch and moan, but the snakes in his heart are cold blooded, and can't stick around to fight the cold.

Be warned however that while The Boggie boys guard you, tricks abound around every corner.  They like resets and double ups, and almost every one of their yellow traps will be designed to let them torment you longer.  What's worse, they are just kids, and you couldn't bring yourself to use your frost powers when they might get hurt.  Your best bet is to bide your time and let your power build until it can be used on the true villain.

Get free and let Jack keep Halloween fun and light, not to mention finishing up the work that needs to be done before Christmas.  If not, well maybe you can still be out in time to save your own holiday...maybe.

General Chat / A question for the keyholders

Being new here, I feel like I will eventually try most KH's out to find the best fit.  If you will have me, of course.

With that in mind, it is only a matter of time before I mess up and someone needs to punish me (or trade a punishment for time/red c arda off, or maybe, just maybe reward me)

So my question is this, what are the staples one such as myself should keep on hand to be able to implement any punishments or rewards?
