I may share your locks via social networks and other public forums. I just wanted to mention that I may share your locks and posts via social networks like Twitter, Facebook Pages, Instagram, Pinterest, and public forums to help pull in a little more interest with ChastiKey and help get a few extra users for your locks, or to find a keyholder for you. I will only share locks and posts that you've shared publicly online (not just these forums)

At the moment I've been sharing most of the locks in this forum via Twitter but will start looking at other channels soon.

I will assume that you're all ok with this because you've publicly shared them, but if not, then please let me know and I'll do my best to not share yours.

Don't forget to change your username in the app from the default CKU one each user is assigned when installing the app. I will only share locks where your app and forum usernames match or are similar.

Thanks

Kevin

Re: let the keyholder decide If it was something I looked at then I think it might work best if you didn't have the option at all but it would instead be an option for the keyholder when they're creating the lock. You deciding whether or not you want to give the keyholder the chance to decide doesn't feel right.

I don't know the wording to use but something like "Make the user wait for your decision when they find the required green card(s)?" Yes/No.

That's just my opinion. Happy to go with what the majority say.

I'm not looking at any updates at the moment as I'm working on the iOS version so plenty of time to see what people think.

Re: let the keyholder decide I agree with you Kevin.  Lockee surrends to KH decision.  However KH should make his decision within a time limit to prevent deadlock situation as described by lockedSlave.

Once the lockee gind the last green cards or its time is over  there could be an icon on the lock with a countdown and a message like "The keyholder asn't decided yet what to do with you... You'll know is decision within hh:mm"

Decision come in either "You're free, KH has unlocked you" or "Your unlocking has been denied"

Jyst my 2 cents 😉

That's a great idea as well. I think I would like that. But as I said before I still would like a maximum response time.
And in my opinion you should limit the decisions to the first time (at least if the lockee does not trust the kh) - meaning using this option the KH can decide to not unlock only the first time the green(s) is/are picked.

Re: Feature request: reset of double up cards when reset lock card is drawn It has been brought up. My understanding is that Kevin didn’t want to implement that as it had the potential of making an endless session.

Re: Feature request: reset of double up cards when reset lock card is drawn Yes if you reset the reset card count each time a reset card is drawn the reset card will never go down and the lock could go on forever if you're really unlucky. I would just recommend the keyholder adding reset cards when you're low if that's what you're after or keep adding reset cards to your own solo locks during the session. At least for now.

I may change it if it becomes obvious a majority want it, or give an option so you can it either way.

Re: Feature request: reset of double up cards when reset lock card is drawn I can see why some users would want this and it would be useful with the auto reset functionality I mentioned in another post. My concern is both reset and doubles are very powerful cards and can easily do more damage than a user might expect. If they are included I think a more indepth trust mechanic might be needed so users don't risk trusting a lock where this could easily get out of control.

But for me I like the way they currently work as there is a good balence to the way they function and it adds more fun with keyholders if they can sneak them back into the deck later on.

Re: Feature request: reset of double up cards when reset lock card is drawn I like it the way it is, even if you get doubled up you can work out roughly how many cards you've got to go through, which is bad/fun enough!

Re: Feature request: reset of double up cards when reset lock card is drawn Hmmm. I would say, it is good, that the RESET Cards are NOT resetted, when drawn one of them. This will maybe create an endless lock, as Kevin mentioned.
But the Threadopener asked for the DOUBLE-UP Cards, to be resetted!
As mentioned above, both cards can do much damage to the lockees carddeck.
But the Double-Up won't create an endless lock.
It doubles up, but then it will only last longer to draw all the greens. But sometime you will have managed it.

So i think, this should be doable. If it's good? I don't know...  8)

Re: Feature request: reset of double up cards when reset lock card is drawn One idea I did have; I think there is some logic which prevents the green being selected before the minimum time is reached. Could this function called from a setting which denies the green until you're on your last X cards? Where X is set by the key holder, the lockee is blissfully ignorant.
