How to forget the combination

Hi guys,
I am actually looking for hints and tips how you successfully use chastikey in self-bondage or self-chastity scenarios. My problem is that when I generate a combination in the app, and set it in my combination lock (I have 4 digit locks), I always manage to remember what I just set, even if I don't want to. I would need a lock with like 6 of more digits to actually forget the combination. Buying a more expensive masterlock electronic keyholding box would be one option, but I am sure you have figured out other clever and less expensive ways to lock yourself without remembering the code.

If you have a 4 digit lock adjust 6 digits in the app.

Add up the first two digits (e.g. 9+8= 17)
Add to each other digit 7 (e.g. 1+7=8, 5+7=12 (2), ...)

You might be able to forget your combination as you never saw it on your screen.

Unfortunately, for me that didn't work. Setting the lock itself is the actual problem, because I have to visually verify that it is set correctly. I have even tried using the 12 digit Chastikey combination, spreading that out over three 4-digit locks and then randomly using one of the locks to lock myself. But even then I keep remembering at least a part of the combinations of the locks. And remembering one number on a 4 number lock already narrows down the escape chance from 10.000 possible combinations, to 1.000.

I hope you can help me on some very different devices you guys use, electronic lockboxes, app controlled things or other devices that can hold longer combinations. On a different part of the forum, I read about a masterlock electronic keysafe that I am sure would do the trick, but it was quite expensive. So love to hear your other options.

I use a similar method with 8 digits on a 4-digit lock. By adding numbers 1+2, 3+4, etc and then locking up. But that doesn‘t seem to be your problem. Maybe try a different mindset when putting in the numbers. From my experience I also remembered some of the numbers. When setting the lock my brain was always like´remember the number´, ´remember the number´. As I tried to releax it got better. When you realize your brain is on, try a new number. That worked for me at least, but everybody is different.

That sounds like a really bad habit  .

I was playing around with an idea to build a steel lock box which is locked with an electro magnet.
The device could fetch your lock status and once it is unlocked the box opens.

But having the ability to build such lock box would also lead to the skills to break the lock box if you want to get free.


Maybe a Matryoshka doll principle would help? Put one lock with combinations in another one and this one again in another one.
Of course this only works if you have boxes which will fit in each other.

I actually never found that app but maybe you will?

I found the flashing numbers on the app to be useful for forgetting the combination but, if that's not enough you could also play a number based game like sudoku just before and after getting your combination. That might help with forgetfulness too.

I had the same problem which I solved by requesting an 8 digit combination. Set the first four digits on the lock, then turn the lock around so the digits are upside down, and what was the left hand wheel is now on the right. Now use the last four digits as a modifier to the number already set, doing it mainly by feel, and ensuring your fingers obscure the numbers.

More recently, I’ve found that turning on the sound as the distracting numbers are displayed is as effective.

I took extra time and set my combination in non-sequential order - trying my best not to read the code from start to finish. Then just kept extending the random numbers and recited phone numbers I can remember to myself. I can remember three of the numbers but not the whole four or the order.

Ha, I have the same problem sometimes - one time I was at the ATM and put in the number, only to realise it was the number to my lock... and I had completely forgotten the ATM number 

My approach might be overkill but it completely works for me, it might work for someone else too.

The app holds the “real” key that would give me my freedom, I set it to 8 digits, and add them backwards in pairs to set the real “4 digit” combination for the key box, like this
8,7=1st digit
6,5=2nd digit
4,3=3rd digit
2,1=4th digit

The clue is to make it as confusing as possible to minimize your chances to remember the combo, maybe even try a 12 digit combo and add them backwards in sets of 3 ?

Here's what I do, it's a little complex but it works!

First off I have an app on my phone called Private Secure Calculator.  This hides a secret photo cache behind what looks like a calculator app.  While the app IS a functioning calculator, if you put in the right combination it unlocks the secret photo cache.

Ok, so first I lock my chastity device on then place the key inside a Masterlock key box.  Without looking I jumble up the combination and close the box.  Now the tricky part.  Without looking at the combination I use the Private Secure Calculator app to take a picture of the combination.  Basically I make sure the words MasterLock are in focus to make sure the combination is readable and in frame.  If I accidently see the combination I just start over.

Once I have a good picture I scramble the combination on the MasterLock.  Cool now it's locked and the only place it's recorded is on my secret Calculator app.  Now I use ChastiKey to generate an eight digit combination.  Before I hit accept I use this eight digit combo as the new unlock code for the Private Secure Calculator app.  I close out of the Calculator app which locks it, switch back to ChastiKey and hit accept.

Eight digits are MUCH harder to remember than four.  Hell you could make the code 12 digits long.

If you STILL are having a hard time forgetting the combo, congrats you have a great memory!  That said you could also play a few rounds of this Sequence memory game.  I find all of this works really well.

Grab one of those, set your 8 digit pin, CHECK THE BATTERIES haha, and lock it up.  Run through the forget screen an extra time or two and youll be stuck goodluck!

I have belatedly read Ferus’s suggestion and feel this is the most sophisticated and (once set up) simplest method I have seen.

The great thing is that there is no need to try to forget the passwords because you don’t need to see them. (What Ferus doesn’t detail is that you can copy the password directly from ChastiKey and paste it into the photo app.)

There are several similar photo security apps you can use. I chose one called Secure Vault.

So the system is simple. Put your key in the key safe and set the combination to a random number out of your sight. Take a photo using the secure app. Generate a 12 digit password in ChastiKey and copy and paste it to set the new password on the photo app. Close the safe and the app.

When ChastiKey releases the password, use it to open the photo app (can’t use copy and paste here). Then use the photo to open the key safe.

I know it sounds complicated but it’s not. Try it.

I use a variation of what is mentioned. I set my padlock to all 0s, generate a12 digit key. Without looking I advance each wheel by each digit in the code. After the first group of four I go back to the beginning. After three times, it is not possible to remember. I place the key in a metal sleeve that is designed for locking keys. Without looking, I secure the key and scramble the numbers. I take a screenshot of the code in the app and later enter the 12 digit key in my safe. Actually I lock the screen shot with a timlock app for a day or so. When the time is up, I enter the code in my safe and toss the locked key in. I either delete the timelock image or reset the time for a long way off as a failsafe. I can always add time to it later.  -Hers
