I'm also interested, my cheap knockoff cage is pretty awesome, which means I got pretty lucky. But the cylinder lock is in rough shape and I should replace it and probably get a spare.

I'm using one at the moment. It seems better quality than the ones supplied with most cages, which are also keyed alike.

Hi, I am curious where you found this lock? I had done an extensive search for a place to purchase one with no luck?

These are actually block cylinders for a standard size of mortice lock so neither key nor  pick can be introduced into the lock from the other side.
The issue with the cheap knock-offs is that they often have just one pin in the lock, and the material of the key is weak.

I use it too. Its way better quality than the cheap ones.
