Question about red cards

So let’s say as the key holder I create a lock that has 9 to 10 red cards, I know the lockee will not draw any green cards until 9 red cards have been drawn.

What happens if the number of red cards gets reduced say either through drawing a yellow card or through a key holder edit to the lock?  For example let’s say I reduce the number of reds down to 5 cards.  Will the lockee only start drawing green cards after they’ve drawn all 5 red cards, or does it work differently than that?

Its really based on time before you can find a green so if 9 reds minimum on an hourly lock would be 9 hours before you can find a green. If you don't pick any cards for 9 hours you have a chance of finding the green. You don't need to find all of the reds first. If the reds are reduced before the 9 hours and there's no other card types then the minimum duration will reduce too, so if there's 9 reds, and 1 green (making it 9 hours before you can find a green) the time will reduce if some of those reds are removed. This is based on a simple red and green only deck.

Basically the minimum duration will reduce if it there aren't enough cards or appropriate cards in the deck. You'll never have a deck with one green left only and you're not able to pick it until the minimum duration pass. In that scenario the minimum time will be 0.
